The First Trade

Ladies and gentlemen, we are on our way! We made our first trade this week; Monica Romano traded us a Scottish cup, called a Quaich, for the red bracelet. Check out the discussion board and the pictures for more details and for a back-story on what a Quaich actually is.
We are absolutely overwhelmed and tremendously excited about all of your trade offers. We are absolutely touched at your offerings. Y'all are incredible.
We're going to decide on our second trade this Saturday, and we'll be sure to update you as soon as we know which one we decide on.
Actually, you should expect a lot of updates throughout this project, because a big part of this is documentation. We're working really hard to keep creative records of everything involved so that after this turns out to be wildly successful :), we'll be able to really assist anyone else who wants to start a similar project. Because we're documenting all of the items offered, even if we don't trade for them, it would really be a great help to us if you could offer trades through the discussion boards.
For instance, if you're trading for the Quaich, post under the heading of Second Trade. If you'd like to offer an item a second time, that's wonderful, and we would love for you to just copy, paste, and repost under the next number. This way we can also keep up with which trades are still available each week, and y'all can keep up with our progress more easily.
